Cave Burials Londa



Description
Londa is a tomb in the form of natural caves. This cave has the depth of about 1000 meters, dark, in some places up and down quite steep, and some only have a height of about one meter, so one must bend to pass through. Inside the cave there are hundreds of thousands of skulls and bones of some hundreds of years old. There are also many coffins are still new. The air in the cave was cool, not stuffy or smelly even in the caves there are many bodies.

Location
Londa is located in the village Sendan UAI, sub Sanggalai, is about 7 miles south of Rantepao, the Capital District of Tana Toraja.

Access
Londa can be reached by private vehicles from the town of Rantepao. From the highway connecting the city Rantepao and Makale, go east on the paved road which is quite nice.

Accommodation and Facilities
