LINOW LAKE - NORTH SULAWESI

The lake is high sulfur, so the lake water color that appears is always changing. When visitors move the corner, the color of lake water may change color. Although Linow beautiful panoramic lake, visitors still have to be careful with the hot mud puddle train which is on the banks of the lake.

TONDANO LAKE - NORTH SULAWESI

Tondano Lake is the largest lake in the province of North Sulawesi, Indonesia. The lake is flanked by Lembean Mountains, Mount Kaweng, Tampusu Hill, and Mount Masarang. The lake is surrounded by roads linking the provincial and city Tondano, District East Tondano, District of Eris, District Kakas, District Remboken, and the District of South Tondano. This lake is a freshwater fish producing lake fish such as tilapia, pior / kabos, payangka wiko (small shrimp), Nike and others.

Area lake 4.278ha, and there is a small island named Likri (next village district Tandengan Eris). On the shores of Lake Mountain Kaweng Tondano clearly visible. It is said that this lake because of violent eruptions occur because there is the story of a pair of human beings of different kinds of violation of the prohibition of parents to marry (Minahasa languages: Kaweng) with reckless run (tumingkas) in the forest. As a result of violation of parental advice then meletuslah Kaweng twin mountain lake so that it becomes Tondano.

Lake Tondano has a famous tourist attraction "Sumaru Endo" Remboken, and Pine Hill Tourist Resort (Tondano direction Toliang Oki). From the banks of the lake Tondano (Toliang Oki), we can pass the top of Mount Lembean and look at the beauty of Maluku Sea (east), precisely the area Tondano Pante (Sub combi), Minahasa regency.

TEMPLE BAN HING KIONG

Temple Ban Hing Kiong is a beautiful temple in the city of Manado, North Sulawesi, which is friendly to visitors, especially those who wish to pray or even those who come to simply admire the beauty of the buildings, statues, temple carvings and ornaments are delicate and beautiful. Ban Hing Kiong Temple is a temple worth visiting when you were in the city of Manado.
Temple Ban Hing Kiong was founded in 1819, and appears to be the oldest temple in North Sulawesi. Nevertheless, Temple Ban Hing Kiong still radiates beauty of the building and ornament, and are still well maintained.

BUNAKEN ( SEAWORLD) - NORTH SULAWESI

Bunaken National Park is very representative of Indonesian tropical water ecosystems consisting of mangrove ecosystems, seagrass beds, coral reefs, and land / coastal ecosystems.

Plant species in the mangroves of Bunaken National Park namely Rhizophora sp., Sonneratia sp., Lumnitzera sp., And Bruguiera sp. This forest is rich with various kinds of crab, shrimp, mollusks and various types of sea birds such as seagulls, herons, sea virgin, and cangak sea.
This type of algae found in this national park include the type of Caulerpa sp., Halimeda sp., And Padina sp. Seagrass beds are dominated mainly on the island Montehage, and Nain island of Thalassia hemprichii, Enhallus acoroides, and Thalassodendron ciliatum.


Tercatat 13 genera karang hidup di perairan Taman Nasional Bunaken, didominasi oleh jenis terumbu karang tepi dan terumbu karang penghalang. Yang paling menarik adalah tebing karang vertikal sampai sejauh 25-50 meter.

Sekitar 91 jenis ikan terdapat di perairan Taman Nasional Bunaken, diantaranya ikan kuda gusumi (Hippocampus kuda), oci putih (Seriola rivoliana), lolosi ekor kuning (Lutjanus kasmira), goropa (Ephinephelus spilotoceps dan Pseudanthias hypselosoma), ila gasi (Scolopsis bilineatus), dan lain-lain. Jenis moluska seperti kima raksasa (Tridacna gigas), kepala kambing (Cassis cornuta), nautilus berongga (Nautilus pompillius), dan tunikates/ascidian.
